Renuka, 38, lived with financial constraints and social restrictions. At a Self-Help Group meeting she heard about the LEDP bamboo-craft training. Hesitant at first — she was afraid of the machinery — she went on to master bamboo cutting, machine operation, and craft design.रेणुका, 38, आर्थिक तंगी और सामाजिक बंदिशों के बीच जी रही थीं। स्वयं सहायता समूह की एक बैठक में उन्हें LEDP बाँस-शिल्प प्रशिक्षण के बारे में पता चला। शुरुआत में झिझक थी — मशीनों से डर लगता था — पर उन्होंने बाँस कटाई, मशीन संचालन और शिल्प डिज़ाइन में महारत हासिल की।
Today her handmade bamboo products sell at craft fairs, her family’s income has grown significantly, and she has become a role model for the women of her village.आज उनके हस्तनिर्मित बाँस उत्पाद मेलों में बिकते हैं, परिवार की आमदनी काफ़ी बढ़ी है, और वे अपने गाँव की महिलाओं के लिए मिसाल बन गई हैं।

A widow earning a modest income from tailoring, Babita gained new skills through VEDP — and the confidence to open Massik Mahila Kendra, her village shop. It now sells reusable pads alongside her tailoring and has become a hub for women’s needs, bringing menstrual-health awareness to the village along with financial stability.सिलाई से थोड़ी-बहुत कमाई करने वाली विधवा बबिता को VEDP से नया हुनर मिला — और अपने गाँव में मस्सिक महिला केंद्र खोलने का आत्मविश्वास भी। अब वहाँ सिलाई के साथ पुन: प्रयोज्य पैड भी मिलते हैं। यह दुकान महिलाओं की ज़रूरतों का केंद्र बन गई है — आर्थिक स्थिरता के साथ गाँव में मासिक धर्म स्वास्थ्य की जागरूकता भी लाई है।

Kushal joined VEDP determined to become financially independent. After mastering pad making she didn’t stop there: she inspired other women to join, opened her own Massik Mahila Kendra, and now leads by example — her shop a place of support and growth, creating a ripple effect of empowerment in her village.कुशल आर्थिक आत्मनिर्भरता की ठान कर VEDP से जुड़ीं। पैड बनाना सीखकर वे रुकीं नहीं: उन्होंने और महिलाओं को इस पहल से जोड़ा, अपना मस्सिक महिला केंद्र खोला, और आज मिसाल बनकर नेतृत्व करती हैं — उनकी दुकान सहयोग और आगे बढ़ने की जगह है, जिससे गाँव में सशक्तिकरण की लहर फैल रही है।

Parwati joined VEDP to build a better future for herself and her community. She learned to make high-quality reusable pads, gained entrepreneurial skills, and opened her own Massik Mahila Kendra. Her shop makes menstrual products affordable — and doubles as a safe space to talk about menstrual health, breaking social taboos in her village.पार्वती अपने और अपने समुदाय के बेहतर भविष्य के लिए VEDP से जुड़ीं। उन्होंने उच्च गुणवत्ता के पुन: प्रयोज्य पैड बनाना सीखा, उद्यमिता का हुनर पाया, और अपना मस्सिक महिला केंद्र खोला। उनकी दुकान मासिक धर्म उत्पादों को किफ़ायती बनाती है — और मासिक धर्म स्वास्थ्य पर खुलकर बात करने की सुरक्षित जगह भी है, जो गाँव की सामाजिक वर्जनाओं को तोड़ रही है।
